Uli NeubertBackground

Uli Neubert is a Partner of Focus Five and Managing Director of ICM America, an independent management and IT strategy consulting firm.  In this capacity and before Mr. Neubert worked in many different Program management, implementation and operational management positions in the IT and IT staffing arena.  Mr. Neubert holds a degree (Diplom Informatiker) in Computer science of the Universitaet Saarbruecken Germany (Prof. Scheer).  He is a member of several associations related to Project management, ERP, SAP, Logistics & Automotive.  He serves on the board of the German American Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Neubert is a highly experienced software and enterprise solutions entrepreneur and has extensive experience in international and national program, project and account management.    He is an expert at improving operational effectiveness by increasing accountability for results through organizational governance, design, and performance management.  His project and program management experience is exceptionally broad, ranging from strategy, to organizational design, to business process transformation, to technology governance, to service management, to senior executive facilitation and mentorship.  He has grown several businesses in the IT consulting and software development space, both in Germany and the USA.

Mr. Neubert has authored numerous whitepapers and articles on Project Management, Master data and System Landscape Optimization.  He is a source for media on data management and transformation issues.  He has taught management and integration seminars at the Heidelberg Molkenkur Business School.  He has taught multiple MRP and Materials Management classes for SAP and presents at industry and client forums.

  • End-to-end implementation of a new SAP based spare parts distribution concept for an auto manufacturer.  $50m project with 8 North American distribution centers and thousands of dealers
  • Program Management with implementation of a new master data and governance structure for a medical equipment manufacturer yielding high improvements of spare part distribution and accelerated maintenance
  • Led strategic approach and implementation for several system landscape optimization projects including mergers, dis-mergers and upgrades, achieving aggressive timeline solutions with minimized risk.
  • Implementation of a strategic global MDG implementation for a Canadian based Oil company.  Utilizing concise repeatable implementation packages, achieving proven global business processes.
  • Led organizational design and governance structures for several technology organizations to achieve improved alignment, throughput, and cycle time Led product and market strategy for several software manufacturers to achieve new market entry and market expansion opportunities.
